Risque French Lingerie Advertising?

French lingerie advertising always intertwines femininity and sexiness. In doing so, such ads typically contain a beautiful woman wearing exquisite lingerie in a lavish decor, with brands like Aubade often presenting these scenes in Black and White.

Still, the unconventional French Lingerie ad (picture included) will emerge from time to time. For some people, such ads are light and much appreciated, while others, taking the ads literally, consider the ads offensive and in bad taste.

For those of you who aren't French, we offer the following translation of the lingerie "publicite" (Ad): "Take the lingerie set for your lover and the chemise for your wife."

Though unconventional and perhaps even cliche -- "only men have lovers on the side" -- it definitely grabs your attention!

Simply put, this French lingerie ad might be too risque for, and even offensive to, many people in the United States.

Please let us know what you think. Is it too unconventional? Offensive?
